Childhood:

Victoria Silvstedt was born on the 19th of September, 1974, in Skelleftea, Sweden -- a small village very close to the Arctic Circle. She was raised with an older sister and a younger brother. She was fond of skiing and she did it professionally, but at 18 she decided to enter a different competition. Victoria entered the Miss Sweden contest and represented Sweden in the 1993 Miss World Pageant. Although she didn't win, she did come in as one of the top ten contestants. After the pageant, Victoria left her small town in search of fame. She found herself in Paris where she began modeling professionally. Standing at 5'9", it wasn't very difficult for the stunner to get modeling gigs.

Career:

On her professional career she was discovered by Playboy and in the year 1996 and 1997 she enjoyed the title “Playmate of the Year”. With her exotic look she immediately got the contract with one of the jeans brand Guess. She followed the footsteps of models Eva Herzigova and Shana Zadrick. She also appeared in different television shows such as Melrose Place and MTV’s The Real World. She also gave her appearance in the film Baseketball as a guest appearance. Victoria now lives in the United States, where she pursues her modeling career. She is also on her way to being featured in films, while continuing her pursuit for more professional modeling contracts. Her most recent accomplishment is the recording of a new album, where her first release is entitled Hello Hey. Although it's not big in the States, it has gone gold in Europe.

Victoria still remains a highly visible part of the modeling scene. She is featured on covers and countless celebrity feature interviews/layouts for mainstream magazines such as GQ, MAXIM, FHM, and GEAR both in the United States and in numerous European countries. Victoria’s professionalism, beauty and class have also enabled her to successfully represent a number of major brands as a product spokesperson including Nike, Renault, Coors, Radisson, Killian’s, and Blockbuster.

Personality:

It is not easy to judge anybody’s personality based on their native ground. Same goes with Victoria also if we say she belong to Sweden so she has to be friendly then it will not be fair enough to say so.  Victoria has a reputation for being a bit of a pouter and the requisite snob. When she is so accustomed to getting everything in life, why wouldn't she complain when things don't go her way? On her beauty, she is damn beautiful and her curvaceous body is even more impressive.

Without being sarcastic, there are certain parts of her that are more famous than others. Unfortunately for her, most men only recognize her when her clothing is not present. She hasn't taken the world by storm yet, but all she needs is one big public relations bonanza to ensure she never leaves the public's mind. On fashion point of view she really speaks the language of modernity and style.

Beyond the money and glory she received as Playboy’s Playmate of the Year, Victoria's career has been a bit lagging. She has taken on acting roles, but she has been typecast as just another pretty dumb blonde. The release of her first music album didn't exactly burn the charts.
