Childhood

Career and Achievements
Sharon initiated her career as a model and became a very familiar face in televisions and print ads in late 70s. In the early 1980s, she landed in acting career as a pretty girl in Stardust Memories (1980). Later came Balero (1981) and a few TV serials like Not Just Another Affair (1982), Bay City Blues (1983), and Calendar Girl Murders (1984).
Stone’s big break came when she got the opportunity to portray the character of betraying and kickboxing wife of Arnold Schwarzenegger in “Total Recall.” A role of Linda in “He said, she said (1991)” was a reward for her amazing performance in Total Recall. The same year, she also starred in the 1991's psychological thriller Scissors and she costarred in another thriller, Year of the Gun.
Thereafter came up her ever memorable role of scheming, bisexual murder suspect in the huge hit movie Basic Instinct in 1992. Her stunning performance in this film won her two MTV awards: Most Desirable Female and Best Female Performance Awards in 1993. She was also nominated for the golden Globe Best Actress.
