Childhood:
Shannon Elizabeth was born on September 7, 1973 in Houston. Her parents were of the mixed origin. Father a Syrian/Lebanese and mother Cherokee Indian. She spent most of her time in Waco, Texas as a child. She was accompanied by other family member too. Right from her childhood she was into the dance especially tap, ballet and many other forms. She was also interested in tennis. She even considered tennis to make her career. She also plays active part in school cheerleading, volleyball, and student council treasurer. As a senior, Shannon did some modeling in New York, and even got herself an agent. After graduating, she went to Tokyo, Japan, Milan, Hong Kong, and various other places to model. But at high school her biggest interest was tennis.
Career:
Shannon's life took surprising turn in her senior year when she starred in a video that a local band was shooting. She was noticed by the producer and he decided to launch Shannon as a model. He convinced her and her parents to go to New York to get some photos done. After completing her high school in 1991, she moved to New York to mark her presence in the world of modeling. She worked in many countries like France, Japan, Hong Kong and Italy. She even enjoyed working on foreign land. She started her acting career from Los Angeles. Initially she hesitates to move by seeing the competition but finally she moved in and started her career with Ford Modeling Agency. She also worked with Elite Model Management. Very soon she landed up in a TV series named as Pacific Blue, Step by Step and USA High.
She started her movie career with the film Jack Frost in the year 1997 and two TV movies named Blade Squad (1998) and Dying to Live (1999). Then in the year 1999, she appeared in summer hit American Pie as Nadia, where she plays a role of foreign exchange student. This movie provided her lots of fame and glory. After that she appeared in one of the teen horror spoof scary movie and then in Evicted and Dish Dogs in the year 2000. She strikes again as Nadia in American Pie2.
Shannon Elizabeth is among those few women who really makes thing happen. The world is full of beautiful women, who are easy on the eyes, but there are only some women who really get a man's adrenaline rushing, and Shannon falls into that category. With the kind of mesmerizing powers she has on men, we only expect bigger things from this exotic beauty.
Personality:
It will be understatement if we say that she needs polishing. Shannon surprisingly still comes off as not fully matured, with the kind of gee-whiz attitude. She might have to tighten up her public opinions to increase her stature as a serious actress. Shannon Elizabeth seems all natural to us despite claims that her curvaceous body got some help from plastic surgeons. If only she would let us be her personal trainers. She's one of those rare women who can look just as good as a cowgirl as she can as an elitist socialite. Away from the movie set, expect a lot of tank tops and tight-fitting pants.
On her personal front Shannon is separated from her husband, Joseph D. Reitman, to whom she had been married since June 2002. She enjoys with her dog, gym and practicing yoga.
