Paula Abdul is a name synonymous with immense talent and loads of beauty. She is actually an multi talented personality, glimpses of which can be seen in her singing as well as her choreography. Lately she has been associated with the Grand Talent hunt “American Idol”, and this association of her has further boosted her already soaring high fame.

Her first stint with fame or her first public appearance came in early 1980's in shape of being a Cheer leader for the Los Angeles Lakers. This performance of her didn't go unnoticed and the lady landed up with a job of an assistant dance director , with none other than the Jacksons. the best that could ever happen to a new comer happened with Paula when she got an opportunity to direct Janet Jackson's album “Control”. Soon after this Paula was flooded with a number of assignments till , she gave her own debut in 1988 with the Album named “Forever Your Girl”. This album of her gave four major hit songs in line including the biggest hit "Straight Up”. soon came her second album named “Spellbound”, which also turned out to be a major hit but the third album that followed could not have the same fate as the previous two.

As far as Paula Abdul's personal life is concerned, one can say that she had a smooth conjugal life until the release of her third album. But soon after it's release things started taking different shape. She filed a divorce with her actor husband Emilio Estevez and decided to live on her own terms.
