Paris Hilton was born on February 17, 1981, to the owner of Hilton Empire of hotels Ricky and Kathy Hilton in New York, USA. Her Grandfather, Conrad Nicky Hilton Jr. was the first of many ex-husbands of Elizabeth Taylor. Paris’s younger sister Nicky Hilton is co-heiress of the Hilton Empire.

She grew up in Manhattan’s classy Waldorf-Astoria. Having already received a big opulence in legacy, Paris did not desire for much. She wanted to do something different and on her own. That was why, even the college did not appeal to her when she came out with graduation degree from high school. Therefore, she decided to choose her own way around the year 2000 to become famous. Paris began appearing as a model in shows for designers such as Catherine Malandrino, Marc Bouwer and later she accomplished an advertisement campaign.

Simultaneously, her relationships with many of the renowned and hottest stars made her the centre of attention. Leonardo DiCaprio was the star with whom Paris was seen in 2000. Nevetheless, the print media made this a public affair and went beyond the proportion. Later She was observed dating Edward Furlong for a few months. Boxer Oscar de la Hoya was the next one. According to the latest news, Paris is currently hanging around with actor Tommy Hilfiger.

Both Paris Hilton and her younger sister have been subject to the bad press for being notorious as a socialite in an effort of gracing the parties with their indecent and rude behavior. A very relevant incident of jostling ahead of people in a washroom queue just for having a look in the mirror, as she punned at that point of time, is an example. An incident in which she went topless in a bar and bopped on top of bar banquettes just  for getting mere attention of people. She marched up wearing a designer T-shirts saying  such as, ''Got Blow?'' Paris Hilton blames the media for playing the worst role in her life. She said "People are mean."

Hilton seems endeavouring hard to show the world by taking some solid assignments in the year 2001. It might be an effort to make people think and feel good about her. A small role in Zoolander (2001) which  was produced by Ben Stiller’s fashion spoof was one of them. Some of her other roles are: she played the role of a supermodel in the film short QIK2JDG and the upcoming The Hillz in which Jason Shaw her boyfriend is costarring, and negotiations are underway for Paris to star in an upcoming FOX reality show along the lines of Green Acres. She has designd a high collection of purses for Tokyo label Samantha Thavasa along with her sister.

In 2003 Paris Hilton appeared in a Fish out of water reality show name “The Simple Life. That show was a super success with the girls Hilton and Nicole Richie spending a month on a farm in Altus, Arkansas. That show was so a big hit that its sequel came in 2004 and 2005. Hilton also released a book Confessions of an Heiress in 2004. She appeared in in the remake of the 1950s horror film classic House of Wax (also starring Elisha Cuthbert).

Paris Hilton is reportedly engaged to her boyfriend Greek shipping heir Paris Latsis. However, the wedding date is yet to be announced.
