The Baywatch beauty has been a favorite star of many in households all over the world. Pamela gained the popularity as sexy lifeguard on the hit syndicated TV series Baywatch (1992-1997) to become a sex symbol of 90s. VIP (1998-2000) was one of her other small screen appearances. Career and Achievements
Pamela Anderson was working as Fitness instructor until she was discovered on the wide screen of a stadium while watching a football match. Pamela got the offer of being the model for the advertisements of Labatt Beer's T-shirts she wore at that moment. The next followed was her appearance in Playboy magazine. Hollywood door opened very soon for Pamela Anderson after that.
She got her breakthrough role as Lisa on the popular television series Home Improvement (1991-1993). She was noticed by Baywatch casting crew and offered the role of C J Parker, a sexy lifeguard which she accepted. Pamela worked with the Baywatch team for five years from 1992 to 1997. This particular role of her made her an international star and helped to become the world’s sexiest actress.
As for silver screen Pamela started with some infamous and unaccredited roles like that of a cheerleader in low budget “The Taking of baverly Hills (1991).” She costarred in such B-movies as Worth Keeter's Snapdragon (1993, playing Felicity), David A. Prior's Raw Justice (1994, as Sarah), and Lyndon Chubbuck's Naked Souls (1995, as Britt). In the meanwhile she did not leave acting on television. She played a role of Velda on the CBS' mystery-comedy Come Die with Me: A Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer Mystery in 1994 (co-starring with Rob Estes).
In 1996 Pamela won her first starring role. She portrayed the title role of Barb Wire in David Hogan's adaptation of Chris Warner's comic book Casablanca. Pamela was noted for the tagline "Don't call me babe" in the action-drama film, which ended both as a critical and commercial flop. However, the Baywatch star continued to act in films, including starring as celebrity/bodyguard Vallery Irons in the syndicated action series V.I.P (1998-2000), which she also helped produce. In 2003 Pamela worked in two films Stripperella (animated movie) and Scary Movie 3.
