For initial 12 years Liv was known as Liv Rundgren until she came to know about her real biological father, the rock legend Steven Tyler. Liv Tyler is the daughter of famous rock star Steven Tyler. Her mother lied to her regarding this. After coming to know this fact sdhe changed her name from Liv Rundgren to Liv Tyler. She was born on July 1, 1977 in Portland, Maine and was raised by both Bebe, her mother and Todd Rundgren (Rock Star) until 1988. She is ver much attached to her father and often has slumber parties where she learns all the trading beauty tips from her father all night.
Adulthood
Liv Tyler has gained everything a successful woman can wish for. Besides being acknowledged by her fans and critics for her films she is now blessed with a son Milo. She got married to William Langdon, British musician with band Spacehog, after dating for four years since 1998. ]
Career and Achievements
It is almost unbelievable to believe the today’s one of the most beautiful lady was considered to be an ugly girl in her childhood. After being convinced by Paula Porizkova her friend, that she is not ugly but an attractive and natural girl, she started modeling at the age of 14.Very soon she was on the covers of seventeen and Mirabella. Within a year she made up her mind to resort to acting as her career.
Liv soon got the opportunity t cast in “Silent Fall (1994)” and heavy (1995). Other roles soon followed in the films Empire Records (1995), Stealing Beauty (1996), That Thing You Do! (1996, directed by Tom Hanks), Inventing the Abbotts (1997), U Turn (1997) and an uncredited part in the movie Can't Hardly Wait (1998). Liv emerged as a really talented actress with her performance in the blockbuster Armageddon (1998) in which she played Will’s daughter and beloved of Ben Affleck. She came into the spotlight with this one and more films followed like & Macleane (1999), Cookie's Fortune (1999), Onegin (1999), Dr. T & the Women (2000) and One Night at McCool's (2001).
Another milestone she achieved by working in the amazing trilogy, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. Liv played coveted role of Arwen, daughter of Elrond (played by Hugo Weaving) and the love of hero Aragorn (played by Viggo Mortensen). The movie slammed box office expectations and the remaining two films The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002) and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003) followed in suit. Liv played the role of Arwen in all three fantastic films.
