Jessica Marie Alba, an American actress was born on April 28, 1981 in Pomona, California, USA. Jessica grew up a sports activist as she was raised in roving military family. With her unruly behavior, she used to frighten her teachers and grandparents alike. Her father's navy career shifted the Albas to Biloxi, Mississippi, and Del Rio, Texas. They finally settled back in California. Her father is Mexican and her mother is of
French and Danish descent. Jessica is an ardent swimmer and a PADI certified diver which allows her a great leeway and gratification in her acting career.
