Born on February 17th, 1972 Denise is the eldest of two daughters born to parents Irv and Joni Richards. She was born and brought up in Downers Grove, Illinois, USA. Like every other teenager, Denise too had dreams of being famous in her eyes. And in order to materialize all those dreams and become a well known face she started on with modeling. Firsts of her modeling assignments included her posing for swimsuit magazines. Later on she also worked as the makeup girl for Bonne Bell. It was with a sitcom named "Life Goes On” that she started on with her career in acting. Next in the league were "Saved by the Bell”, “Married with Children", "Beverly Hills, 90210" and "Seinfeld", to name a few. The actress was also spotted in "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman".
After gaining pretty good experience on the small screen, Denise graduated to movies. Her breakthrough role in Hollywood came in shape of Loaded Weapon 1 in 1993. And after this there came some of the average movies. But the turning point in her life came, when he gave brilliant performance in the Sci-fi movie “Starship Troopers”, where in Denise played Carmen Ibanez. And then came “Wild Things” in 1998 which added another feather in Denise’ cap.
“The World Is Not Enough”, this is the name of a the movie that gave Denise a totally different standing. Her portrayal of the character Dr. Christmas Jones put her into the league of mature stars. This movie proved to be her ladder to reach the soaring high success.
