Childhood:
Beyonce Giselle Knowles was born on September 4th, 1981 in Houston, Texas, USA. Her father Matthew knows manage her group called destiny’s child and her mother Tina Knowles, designs beautiful costumes for the group.
Beyonce Knowles showed an interest for music before she could even talk clearly. She was one of the active participants in the church choir. Every Sunday she used to do soulful hymns with her sweet voice and after that she was to attend opera classes that gave her classical talent. At the very early age of 8, she was grouped with LaTavia Robertson.
Career:
The group was officially named as Destiny’s child in the year 1995. The group comprises of four beautiful and talented singers. They named as Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland, LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett. The four beauties named themselves as Destiny’s Child. In 1997, the song titled “No, No, No” became their first official single, and it got a great start. The particular track went multi-platinum. The group became very popular in the media and enthralled all with their lovely and sweet voice. In 1999, they released their second album titled “The Writing’s on the Wall” led by popular Beyonce. This particular album produced three top ten hits within the year: “Jumpin, Jumpin,” “Say My Name” and “Bills, Bills, Bills.” The second album earned her lots of fame and glory. They became so popular and it sold 9 million units worldwide.
At the same time, it was announced that their single "Independent Women Part 1," off the Charlie's Angels soundtrack, had reached the largest audience ever in the recorded radio airplay -- 140.4 million pairs of ears. Then what, they never looked back and they keep their triumph roaring.
Destiny's Child sold 33 million albums worldwide by 2002 and earned a slew of Grammy’s and additional music awards. "Jumpin ' Jumpin '," "Bills, Bills, Bills," "Say My Name," and "Survivor” were smash hits, and the group appeared unstoppable.
Personality:
Beyonce Knowles is one of the great artists of the new millennium. But with all the fame and achievements she maintains her own individual right. Solo career:
Beyonce became the first African American and the second woman to get the songwriter of the year award, from the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers pop music awards. Have earned lots of fame and glory she decided to shift to acting. She started her silver screen career with MTV TV movie Carmen. Again in 2002, she played a role of Foxxy Cleopatra in the film known as Austin Powers. this film has secured its place in the Guinness Book of World Records for highest box office comedy film. She also played a movie soundtrack for “Work It Out”. The song did pretty well in UK, Netherlands, Australia and Ireland accept her home country. Her popularity was growing with each passing year. In 2002 she featured as a vocalist in Jay-Z’s smash single and that was the year when she gets closure to Jay-Z.
Debut performance:
She released her debut album “dangerously In Love” in the year 2003. The album was the biggest hits of that season. It remains on the number one position in the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. It has sold six million copies worldwide.
The song titled "Baby Boy", from the Dangerously in Love album featured reggae star Sean Paul, began to climb the charts. This particular song was the biggest hits of 2003. It dominates the radio airplay for the fall of 2003.
Beyonce is currently busy with her post-production for The Pink Panther in which she can be seen in the role of Xania. The film is expected to be released in 2005. She can also be seen as a Deena Jones in the adaptation of the Broadway musical Dreamgirls, expected to be released in 2006.
