Jude Law is among the handful of those people who identify their skills in their pre-teens. It was at 12 when he got enrolled at the National Youth Music Theatre. It is here only that he met long time friend and production partner Jonny Lee Miller. Dying for acting he didn't stick to his studies for a long. In order to appear in Families, a daytime soap opera from Granada, he dropped out of school completely at 17. Till early twenties, he was committed to theatre only. For his London debut in The Fastest Clock In The Universe, it was voted the Best New Play of 1992 by Time Out magazine.
